TRIAL OF DINIZULU. LONDON, February 11. In the House of Commons Mr Winsloa Churchill informed Mr Mackarness that* Dmizulu's trial would take place 'befo-« the Supreme Court. February 13. Mr Winston Churchill states ■ thatl martial law will be" continued in Zululand 1 despite Sir Matthew Nathan's and Lord Elgin's view that it is not required. Mr Churchill, speaking in the House of Commons, Mid that Mr Jellicoe's statements would be closely considered when Sir M. Nathan's report was received. Mr Jellicoe's retirement had left the Government in doubt as to what legal assistance Dinizuluhad received. CAPETOWN, February 11. The Cape Argus severely condemns Mr Jellicoe's precipitate action as a menace to Natal's peace, and an encouragement to the enemies of the English coloaists. DURBAN, February 12. Two hundred chiefs held an indaba atl Ukandhla. They thanked the Government* . for Dini/;ulu's lemoval, remarking that there was now no fear of assassination, \ and that they would be able to sleep with i their doors open. The chiefs furthetf hope that Diuizulu will never be read- \ mitted to the country, since he was sura ' to cause tiouble if pies^nt in Zululand. The Natal Government denies that Mr Jelhcoe was denied reasonable facilities foi the conduct of Dinizulu's case. _ PRESS COMMENT. LONDON, February 14. The Times considers that the Motherland is entitled to tender the Nata/ Government advice, inasmuch as she is under some measure of responsibility it connection with the conditions of Dinizulu's return. The Times adds that it would tend to restore confidence in Britain, and equally in Natal, if the Natal Premier could see his way to summon a special session of Pai-liament immediately, instead of waiting till June
