THE IMMIGRATION QUESTION. ACT TO BE DISALLOWED. OTTAWA, February 15. Official advices from Ottawa state that the act passed by the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia to restrict Asiatic immigration on ,the lines of the Natal Act will be disallowed. February 16. Dr George Parkin, speaking at Toronto, declared that British protection was Canada's salvation. If Canada had been left to herself the Vancouver riots would have been discussed under -the guns of Japanese battleships.
