The match Dunedin No. 1 v. Grange was played on the Caledonian Ground. Grange, batting first, totalled 58, Paterson (15) and Davis (21) reaching double figures. Wilkio (four for 24)', Harris (two for 0). Campbell (one for 0). and Wilson (two for 30) secured the wickets for Dunedin. On going in to bat Dunedin totalled 148. Wilkie (39), Comer (23).
