The match between Carisbrook D and Ro-lyn was commenced at Carisbrook. Roslvn, winning the toss, batted first, and compiled 142. Ka\anagh (38), Gibb (25), C. Bceby (18), O. A. Beeby (18), F. Anderson (16), and C. Anderson (11) batted well for their inns. For Carisbrook, Harraway (throe for 23) and Fenwick (two for 27) bowled best. Carisbrook. on going to the wickets, had lost six wickets for 102 at the call of time. Scoular (51) placed a splendid innings, hitting fioely all round the wicket. Robinson (24) aKo batted well. The match Dunedin No. 1 v. Grange was played on the Caledonian Ground. Grange, batting first, totalled 58, Paterson (15) and Davis (21) reaching double figures. Wilkio (four for 24)', Harris (two for 0). Campbell (one for 0). and Wilson (two for 30) secured the wickets for Dunedin. On going in to bat Dunedin totalled 148. Wilkie (39), Comer (23). Thomson (21), Ham- (16), Gregg (14). and Fleming (18) were the most prominent scorers.
