STRANDED IN SYDNEY
SYDNEY. February 10. The State Piemier states that his attention has been drawn to the fact that a number of Bulgarians who have landed here are stranded, and are unable to get employment It seems that men of European extraction, mostly Bulgarians, aie being induced by some person or persons to emigrate to New Zealand. As far as can be ascertained they ha\e been shipped by German or French lines, but as they are unable to pass the test the shipping companies refused to carry them on to the Dominion, and they have been left here. More are expected to arrive within the next few months. Mr Wade has placed the facts before Mr Deakin.
