MESSAGE FROM WELLINGTON TO

SYDNEY

SYDNEY, February 4.

H.M.S. Powerful has aiTived. A wire* lees message was received last night by the Psyche, in Farm Cove, from the Pioneer, at Wellington, the Powerful being the repeater at sea. The distance which the Powerful was away from Wellington when she* got the message has not been disclosed, but the vessel arrived within 12 or 14 hours after the receipt' of the message at Sydney.

The wireless telegraphy experiment witl New Zealand was not entirely successful. H.M.S. Powerful got out of touch with' New Zealand and Australia for six hours, losing the New Zealand side on Sunday night.
