By this victory Wales has avenged the»,> 'defeat inflicted by Scotland last year. In 1907 Scotland put up a splendid record, -winning the whole three of the international matches, and jumping from the 'bottom to- the top of the list. The match •gainst Wales was won by two tries to a ■penalty goal.
