AUCKLAND RUGBY UNION.

AUCKLAND, January 31. At a special meeting of members of the Auckland Rugby Union, held this evening' to consider amendments to the rules as Proposed by the Management Committee, it Iras decided to admit the Auckland University College as a senior team. It was * tsolved that junior teams could be formed from any district, thus doing away with tho 'district scheme in Junior football, but pach senior olub. which is still bound by the district scheme, shall control all junior j clubs in its district. Players who have Represented the Auckland province for five rears will in future be given free passes to £ll matches. The meeting was adjourned till next Friday.
