MAN RUN OVER. i c TCANGANUI, January 31. . A fatal accident occurred at Gonville : last evening on the Castlecliffe branch line „. railway, Andrew Bogle being run over by the train and cut to pieces. The train was approaching the Gonville etatton, when the enginedriver noticed an object on the ' line a few yards in front of the engine. He immediately applied the brakes, bat : the train passed over the object before it i was brought" to -a standstill. One arm and a leg were severed, and the body; horribly mangled. The victim was within a few ' yards of his home, and evidently did not hear or see the approaching- train.
