THE NEW SOUTH WALES MINISTRY.
SYDNEY, January 21.
There has been a rearrangement of the Ministry consequent upon the creation of an independent portfolio of Agriculture. Mr Perry takes charge of the new department, Mr Wood that of Mines, and Mr Hogue Labour and Industry. ■ Mr Anderson, Director of the Intelligence ■ Department, has 4ieen appointed Under-secretary of Agriculture.
TARIFF CONSIDERATION RESUMED.
MELBOURNE, January 23. The Senate reassembled to-day, and. cleared the board for consideration of the tariff to-morrow.
January 24.
The Senate has passed the second reading of the tariff, and has commenced the consideration of the schedule.
