IMPORTANT LAND SALE.
EXCELLENT PRICES. FEILDING, January 18. A land sale took place * here to-day, the properties offered being the Hon. John Bvyce's Makonui Estate and MrR. M'Beth s Wharekoa Estate. Two thousand eight hundred acres were offered altogether, ana 2000 acres were sold at prices ranging from £20 to £29 per acre, the average being about £23 per acre. The land. is principally grazing and dairying, and is situated from 15 to 18 miles from the railway line at Feilding.
