THOROUGHNESS.
POSTAL OFFICIALS ’ CAREFULNESS. The scrupulous care which characterises th'e work of the postal officials, in dealing with mail matter, is wellknown. A Wellington pressman, a few weeks ago was surprised when a onepennv -postage stamp, bearing on its adhesive side his name and address, was delivered to him along with Other correspondence. Underneath the address was the date the stamp had been posted which indicated that no delay had occurred between the time of posting and delivery. The cancellation stamp showed that postage had been male in' Wellington.
