Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Hewitt and family are at present spending a holiday at Otaki beach.
Mr. and Mr*. Albert Russell, of Wellington, are at present residing at the kiosk, at Otaki bench.
Among the holiday makers. at Rangiuru, is Mr. Lead, of the staff of the "Dominion." Wellington. Mrs. Kearns. of Otaki, wbo has been in indifferent health for some time, leaves to-morrow, on a trip to W angauui and district.
We regret to learn that Mrs. I. Seara: ■•'..•, of Otnki Railway, is at present sciiou-!.- indisposed and is hkeiy to be r-onlined to tier home tor some time to come.
Mr. F. W. G. McLeod. of New Plymouth, "has been appointed sole adjudicator for the North Island Brass Band Association's annual contest, which is to be held from February 11 to id at Palmerstou North.
Mr W. Lowrv. ut. the Westminster (dee Singers, is'at present on a short visit to his brother in Otaki. Alter a tour of the South Island the company leaves* for Australia and a comprehensive, tour Of South Africa is to follow thi« will probably he Mr. Lowry's last vi.-it to Otaki for some time.
