A five-acre block, with house and orchard, was offered for sale bv Messrs Nathan and Co., on behalf 'of Mr. Carter, but failed to reach the resent as also did two {-acre sections adjoin. ing the Post Office. Unfortunately the sale was not boomed locally. A very successful stile of sea-si:. sections was held at i'ackakariki ol .Saturday. Eighty odd sections wen offered and most of them wort sold. The prices averaged somewhere within the vicinity of £SS.
