MISS ELDEKTON’S SUCCESSES. The following li.-t of special prizeawarded by the Dunedin Competitions Society for highest aggregate marks in vocal and, instrumental srelections at its recent festival has come to hand:— Challenge Silver Shield (to in; held ior one year), for winner of highest marks in solo singing—Miss Maud Aldertoa t Otaki}. 15% points. Special prize of £8 8s to the highest aggregate marks in tenor, baritone, bass, vocal solo (operatic), and vocal solo (open to all) —Mr. W. ,J. P.error (Meraington), 552 points. Special prize of £3 8s to the highest aggregate marks in soprano, mezzosoprano. contralto, vocal solo (operatic). and vocal solo (open to all) —• hits? Maud Flderton, 6C17 points. Gold and silver-mounted oak tray (to be held for one year) for winner of competition number S 4 (pianoforte solo), reading at sight—-Miss Sybil Baker (Dunedin)'. Miss Blderton, bv snecial invitation, will sing at "Wellington to-night aid to-morrow sight at concerts organised on behalf of the P.c-v. Fielden Taylor’s mission.
