Those who were unfortunate enough hist night to uiiss seeing' “Dick WTiittingtol^,, misse'l ;i treat, as the pantomime war; one of Hi*' best that has boon fur years. Fine see miry ami effect?), .specially pa inf cl by a ►Sydney artist, and the lovely drosses of.’ the ladies, were well worth seeing, while the actors and acirosses performed splendidly. Miss Saidic Tilburn, as principal boy, was heartily received on each appearance, while Mr. Frank Kavello was . splendid. Mr. Will Cass proved a lip-top artist, and has a reputation hard to boat. His n< w wen* fully appreciated. Mies Ivy liowment, the principal proved her worth as a leading soubrette, while.Tar*kin Cass, who took the parr of the cat. showed great versatility. The beauty ballet and chorus were a talented coterie of dancers. Although the attendance was large Mr. Tama Kama drew attention to the fact that the company, owing to being under such a heavy expense, played at a Joss and hoped when the company again came to Otaki. there would be an attendance to warrant the visit.
