The Rev. and Airs. Keall are among the sufferers from influenza. Aliss Phyllis Heap, who is still in the Palmerston North hospital, is making a good recovery and hopes to return home in the course of a few days. The County Engineer, Air. AV. N. Anderson, who lias been confined to liis room with influenza for the past week, resumed duty yesterday morning. The many friends of Aliss Edmed will be interested to know that she has been accepted by N.Z. Church Atissionnry Society for mission work in China. She expects to go shortly to either Sydney or Alelbourne for a short course of training before proceeding to China. At a meeting of the Committee of the Otaki library on Wednesday night a vote of condolence was passed to Air. and Mrs. A. AV. Broadway on account of their recent sad bereavement.
