MoI.eavey, the retiring president, (hanked the members for returning him ic» the office for Wq year?; during which he had found it a pleasure to hold the position, and he hoped thai his successor would receive the same support as he had done. He had much pleasure in welcoming the newly-elected president to Pie chair, and wished the Association all future success and prosperity, in which direction he would at all times be willing to assist. Mr G. H. Kingdom on taking the chair, expressed his thanks at being elected president, which office he would endeavour to f!J! in the lift*; inieres.fi . McLeavey, retiring president. \Vas accorded a; very hearty vote of thanks for his past service?. A similar acknowledgment was accorded Messrs P. \V. Goldsmith and C. H. Pyke for their past, sen-ices as hon. treasurer and auditor respectively. It was resolved that members of th« | committee make on individual canvass I for new members and report to a meeting in August. Messrs S. A. Broadbeif, P. V. Brown, i F. Bavies, and F. B. Wright, together with the president, were appointed to canvass Wellington for donations to prize fund I The dates of the next Sfcow were fixed for the 30th and 31st January. 1924'.
