T-lu> third of tlio entertainments organised by the "VVaihoanga sehool committee took place in the school on Friday evening last, and completely eclipsed anything attempted by this very ui>-to-dafce body in the past. Blackmore prevailing' in the gentlemen's class, a supper was served which would Lave tickled the palate of an epicure. The delicious eVoam puffs, washed down by numerous evrps of fragrant. Orange Pekoe, put all hands in excellent trim for the fun that followed. First a dance or two and then sonic competitions which resulted as follows: Putting the tail on the pig. Mr H. Bfciekinorc and Mrs Sorragnhaii were declared the winners amidst great SVpplause.
