WAIKANAE.
The A.O.F. (Waikanae) held a plain and fancy elress hall at Coronation Hall, I’araparaiunu, on Friday, Juno 29tli. The weather being line a good crowd assembled from the surrounding district and da lining was enjoyed by all. Fancy dresses were prominent, and the prize for the ladies most original dress was won by Miss 11. Wcggary, of Paraparaumn, as Poppy, and the gent’s prize was won by Mr. Stan.
