QUEEN CARNIVAL.

The (jueen carnival, which has been in progress for a month, ceased on Wednesday night. To-night, at the pictures, the result will be made known. TOWN QUEEN. The pictures on Wednesday night were fully appreciated and witnessed by a fair crowd. The singing competition was also enjoyed, and all contestants — Misses Batten, Baker, and Walsh—received prize-. A community sing was also indulged in by all present. RAILWAY QUEEN. The dance on Wednesday was most enjoyable while Messrs Nash, Pcrcival, and Thomson, in fancy costumes, considerably enlivened proceedings. The Band discoursed splendid music.
