QUEEN CARNIVAL.

RAILWAY QUEEN. A social and dance will be held tit j e lloro on Wednesday in aid of the Railway queen. All who can should attend. BEACH QUEEN. A line picture programme will be submitted in aid of the Beach queen at the theatre on Wednesday. Vocal items will also be given. Buy an art union ticket at the Beach depot and win one of the valuable prizes. See list published last issue.

There will be plenty of amusement at the Kiosk on Monday for kiddies. This will enable parents to go to the races, and likewise allow the kiddies to have a good time.

The music at the hard-up dance was supplied by the Rikihana orchestra, and was greatly appreciated. TOWN QUEEN. The children and adults dauc-i-d merrily to splendid music, while the j .dges, Lady Romaic and Mrs Field had a difficult task in awarding the p.-izes. The prizes given were very j* !,e ones, and to donors the committee v. ,-h to express their thanks.
