Mr F. Meyer, Chairman of the Cjinniit-te-e, contributed a song, while Mil- L. Nielsen pleased the audience with two tine- songs. Her rich, tuxe-lul voice was much liked, and the- ‘‘Kiki” public would love- to hear her often on future occasions. Mr Howard, the. headmaster. then -poke eulogisticaliy of Mi.--Martin and her work at the school, also the deep interest -he hail always taken in her pupils both in and out of the class-rooms, and then called on the Chairman to pre.-ent Mi-- Martin with a useful thermos flask, from the children of the school. ‘‘Auld Lang Syne” and the National Anthem brought u typical “Biki ” send-off to a close.

SCHOOL COMMITTEE ELECTION The householders’ meeting at Rikiorangi failed to elect a committee on the 30th ultimo, so that the pre-e.il committee remain in office for another month, when a new election takeplace.
