EUCHRE PARTY.
A very pleasant evening was spent at the euchre party and dance in the Druids' Hal] on Monday evening. The object of the gathering was to raise fnada to help wipe off the overdraft of the Otaki library, and it was gratifying to see such a splendid attendance. Thifirst part of the evening was devoted to a euchre tonrnatnent. and prize- for this were won by Mrs Erkell and Mr Wi N'ieholls farter a play off with Mr Ray Bills), while consolation prizes were won by Mrs Broadway and Mrs R. Thompson. After the presentation, which was made by the Rev. Pefrie. M.A., supper was partaken of arsd fuliv enjoyed, then a dance was held. Thanks for the success pt the aftair -vas due to Mrs Oliirer, wka was ably assisted Bv Mrs Cook, Mrs Broadway, othere.
