FRIDAY NIGHT. "THE WORLD'S CHAMPION.•' The new Paramount picture, "The World's Champion," which comes to the Lyric pictures next Friday, i.; filled with action from start to finish. The picture is located mainly in England, of which many beautiful scenes ate shown, also exquisite views of the homes and surroundings of English landowners. Of course the big feature is the sporting element—boxing and fishing. There is a burlesque where Wally leiis of his career, after returning home a> the world's champion. The picture give..- flashes of hiin ns a shop-walker, a cleaner, a. plumber, a bricklayer and a carrier. Some splendid supporting items accompany tliis feature.
