MR BYRON BROWN CONSENTS TO NOMINATION. Of late several deputations have waited on Mr Byron Brown, asking him to consent to nomination for the Mayoralty, and today he agreed to the wishes of those who have waited on him. It is therefore evident that a contest will result as Mr Brandon, our present Mayor, has decided to stand. Both are well-known residents who have tho interests of Otaki at heart, and therefore keen interest will re=ult.
