again pointed out that the present erotuet lawns were totally inadequate for he growing needs of the tov.m, and tiat here was no room for enlargement, i'hc ladies were willing to guarantee a targe membership, and had no doubt but that they would receive every cou--aleralion at the hands of the Aleyor iml Borough Gouiicilioi's. II he area re;uired would be about haif-nn-acre, and would in no way interfere with other .ports bodies. Should the request he granted, and the ladies have no doubt bat it will be, there is every prospect if a splendid club being formed.
After the meeting Mr,- Pereival eu-fertaiiu-ri all at supper. Playing .for the brooch yesterday Mr? Evans defeated Mrs Tatter-'all.
