Mr D. K. Logan and a party of ladies and gentlemen left Greytuwii on Thursday last for Otuki, tin Mount Hector. Being unable to get through, they camped in the hills till the weatliei moderated, then returned to Greytown.

A Foresters ’ ball is to be held at the Waikanae meetinghouse on Friday, April -7th. and an enjoyable time should result.
