An adjournment was granted by His Honour in the morning to enable the ymy to visit the scene of the tragedy, after they- had heard certain evidence tendered by Frederick Arrnitage, Government bacteriologist at Auckland, who dealt at some considerable length with methods he had used regarding the examination of bloodstains.
