Messrs A. B. Anderson and J. J. Davison, both of Ivapongu, were among the visitors to this district on Monday. Mr Ilollings. ex-magistrate, who is practising as a solicitor at Fox ton, has expressed his intention of contesting the mayoralty in that town. Mr C. E. Cumsly, the head teacher at the Kangitumau school, and late ol Otaki. has been appointed to have charge of a native school in the Uis- ! borne district, and will leave shortly I for his new post. He was entertained j by residents of Kangitumau at a social last night, j ___
