The test was satisfactory and proved that the material in use is highly satisfactory tor the purpose. A few joints were found to drip slowly, hut were easily remedied by use of caulking tools. The water was lefr on mainly for the purpose of assisting to settle the "made" g-round in Waitohu Valleyroad, where a large amount of filling kas been done.
