NOXIOUS WEEDS
At the Hutt County Council meeting yesterday Mr J. J. Mahcr stated that the growth ot' noxious weeds in-the. Mungnron Riding was enormous, find that sume farmers made no effort to cheek the growth. In consequence ho thought the Council should bring pressure to bear on the Agricultural Department and make them take strong meas- , uxes to have* such weeds as ragwort; eradicated. Crs. Edwards and Whiteman spoke in support and il was agreed I that action be taken. I
