| , j Very successful services were held I yesterday in connection with the Har-1 vest Thanksgiving celebrations. at the Otaki Methodist Church. Tho attendances at morning and evening services were much above the average, and the [singing of special harvest hymns by the large congregations was especially inspiring. Rev. R. P. Keall conducted tho service in the morning and Mr Wise in the evening. The Festival will conclude this evening with a sale by auction of the gifts

in the Druids' Hall. Fruit, vegetables, produce, poultry, etc., will be disposed of to the highest bidder, and it is hoped the financial results will be such that the celebration will be a success in every way.
