LEVIN SPORTS.
The Levin sports, to be held on Wednesday, should draw a crowd of ath'letes from this dJst: ; et at well as from elsewhere. The cycling entries air larger than ever, and among the entrants aee Joe Cooksley and Bate-man, of Palmerston North—both very fine riders. Running and lield events K-re well-filled, Scatchard and Richardson, both of Wellington, being among thoso who intend competing. The ladies' events have tilled up splendidly, while chopping and sawing events are causing much interest. The total number of entries greatly exceed all expectations, and visitors may expect plcuty for their mousy.
