Mr and Mrs J. P. Brandon leave on holiday for Napier to-morrow. Mr A. Knight, butcher, of Otaki, had the misfortune to-dav to rick his shoulder while lifting a carcase of beef. Mr Grant, district agent for the •South British Insurance Co., is at present in Otaki. The death occurred at Auckland of Mr Frank Thomas .Teffary, a wellknown traveller for Messrs -Whitcombs and Tombs, after an illne-i extending over seven months. Deceased, who was in his sixtieth year, was born in London.
