OTAKI ATHLETIC CLUB.
_♦ A meeting of the Committee of the above Club was held last night in.the Council Chambers. Mr W. H. Reynolds presiding. The Secretary reported that he had secured £lO in members' subscriptions, and that he had boon advised that it was optional as to where the Club should affiliate. The 24th March had. he said, been granted as the date of the sports' gathering. Two old outstanding accounts were received, and it was decided to pay them, also the affiliation fee. It was resolved to call for tenders for the refreshment booth, and to appoint Mr S. Norgrove gate-keeper for the sports. Mr Taylor reported that he had made arrangements to secure the theatre for a dance On Monday. 26th inst.
