CROQUET ON THE DOMAIN.

To the Editor. ""> Sir, —I am glad to see that Otaki has at least, one "Willing Helper" who is alive to the fact that we are behind the times in the way of recreation grounds. Most country towns have a domain that residents are proud of, and in many cases croquet and tennis lawns are laid down thereon. while swings are provided for children. Now. Otaki, surely the young men and women you have reared and educated, and whose parents have been paying rates for years are worthy of some consideration. The present croquet green is certainly very over-crowded, and what place is more suitable than the domain for laying down extra lawns, especially as croquet is a game that can be played by young and old alike. Wake up bowlers or yon will miss your cup of tea! —I am, etc., ANOTHER WILLING HELPER.
