Beauchamp. The Te Horo Sports’ Club is to be warmly congratulated on the success of its meeting which was held on Mr -J. Puti’s grounds on Wednesday in line weather. The management, thanks to efficient officers, was splendid and all worked energetically, while special credit is due to Messrs Davidson and Hayward (secretaries). The starting was in the capable hands of Mr Harold Taylor, while the handicapping of Messrs Spiers and Ellis was, on the whole, sutisfa etory. The attendance of the general public, despite it not being a holiday, was splendid, while the Otaki Brass Band helped to enliven selections. A refreshment booth, under the control of Mr I’ullan. was appreciated and good business was done. Following are the results:
