Probablv the most interesting and enjoyable game of croquet played for the Pollock Stars was the one which eventuated at Levin on Wednesday, when Mesdames Atkinson and Davies, representatives of the' Otaki Club, challenged the holders Airs Kirk and Miss Whittaker). The game from the start to the finish was of a most even nature, and the four players practically finished the same time. At the last hoop the Otaki ladies had the advantage, but a foul shot favoured Levin, who won on the peg. 26 2-i. All the players are to be congratulated on their play which was of a high order. The Levin players cow intend to play the holders of Messrs Bills and Moore's bToochei.
