FARMER FINED FOR INJURING BULL.

Pahiatua, February S. At Hie Magistrate's Court, Dante! Buckley, fanner, ltakaunui, was mid £5 and costs for wilfully damaging a Jersey bull, the property ol a neighbouring larmer. It was stated that there was leelmg between the parties. Accused was a breeder of Polled Angus cattle, and an alleged scrub bull got among his heifers on Boxing Day. Accused drove the bull into a yard and op'itated on it. The bull bled to death. ' Pull restitution wa; made, but the Magistrate -aid accused was not. Justified in taking such drastic action, which could not be tolerated.
