HALF-HOLIDAY.
WEDNESDAY FAVOURED. The half-holiday question was considered by the Otaki Borough Council last night, when a petition was received asking for a poll, the desire being to revert to Wednesday, All Councillors considered the Saturday half-holi-day had proved a failure and thought advantage would be gained by reverting tj "Wednesday. It was decided that steps be taken to have a poll".
