Some twenty members ot the Otaki Masonic Lodge were the guests of the "Wellington Binemoa Lodge yesterday, In the afternoon a bowling rink competed with the Wellington men for the Siincox Cup, held by the Wellington men, who proved successful in defending their laurels. In the evening the visitors were the guests of the Hinemoa Lodge ta a function in the Newtown Masonic Hall,
The game was a good one. It was 11—11 on the 12th head, Otuki evening up with a live. Then the visitors led 15 —11, after which Hinemoa scored on four heads, making the game i'J —15. Otaki got two. 10 —.17. but failed ou the remaining two heads, having all the worst of the luck. Final score; Hinemoa 21, Otaki 17. THE OTAKI CLUB. Luring the week several "single-" were played. Satherley beat O'Kourke 28—10. A. Smith beat Irving 21—20, Irving beat Petrie 21—l'J, Smith beat Williams 20— U, Williams beat Satherley 17—14, Goo'ding beat Freeman 19— 15. Some of the matches were very interesting. Irving especially being in good form.
