' SENSATION AT NEW PLYMOUTH. New Plymouth, Thursday. An unusual incident, and one about which there were some menacing features, took place in Main street here last night, as the result of which Anthony Kelly appeared in the Court this morning in answer to a series of charges arising out of the occurrence. These were:—Of assaulting a constable by" pointing an unloaded revolver at him. and saying "I'll fix you"; with resisting a constable in the execution of his duty; with carrying firearms without a license, and with having in his possession an unregistered revolver; and with presenting an unloaded revolver at a constable.
