•- The death occurred suddenly ort Tuesdav at Frankton Junction of Mr Letford. father of Mr Vie. Letford, of Otaki.
Mrs Bobbie, mother of Mrs Erkell, died at Broad Bay, Dunedin, yesterday, aged 63 years. Deceased, who was highly respected, leaves a husband ar.d grown-up family or ten.
Mrs Berretti, of Paraparaumu, who has been in the Otaki hospital, left the institution to-day. much improved. Before returning home- she will spend a few days in Otaki with her daughter, Mrs Capewell-
Mr Alex. Wilson has returned to Otaki after a pleasant holiday 'pent in Rotorua. While in the district he indulged in some hue trout-fishing, and was successful in catching many " spotted beauties.’' A Quiet wedding was solemnised at the Roman Catholic Church, ot%k:, on Wednesday when Mr George Bernard, of the railway staff. Te Horo, war married to Misa Lottie Faith, eldest daugnter of Mr John. Faith, of Te Horo. The honeymoon is being spent in the South Island.
