ICurse Patterson, who has been india« posed for some time, has decided to take a holiday of twelve months in thd south Island.
.Mrs Byron Brown, of Wellington, is at present in Otaki on account of indifferent health. Mr and Mrs Burgess and Mr and Mrs Winton Brown have returned to the Citv,
Mr W. Thomson, late stationrnaster at Levin, and now of Palmerston, is at present on a month’s furlough. He expects to visit Auckland, Kotoroa and Wairarapa districts,
Mr W. Dredge, who has been lettercarrier at Otaki for some months, leaves to-morrow to take up a position at the Stratford post office. He carries with him the best wishes of many friends.
Mrs J. W. Hodgson, who has been in indifferent health, left for Wanganui en Monday. She was accompanied by Miss Hodgson, who has been spending a holiday in the Wairarapa and whose marriage takes place on the 16th inst.
