A meeting of the Library comnutU was held on Friday night. Preset Rev. G. F. Petrie (chairman), M« dames Swabcy and Broadway, Me.** H. Nicolson and S. Norgrove (seer tary). It was decided to purchase sever new book-, while it was resolved thank the Borough Council for to! grant of £5, which, however, was 3e« ed inadequate to help the lib**' through its financial difficulties:. Several accounts were passed -' payment. A trinket box, donated by Mr Looser at the recent .-bop day, ''\ awarded 'to Mrs Hussling, she being tl winner of the competition. It Is probable that the annual cite ing of the library will be held abet the middle of next month.
