TO-NIGHT. THE RUBAIYAT OF “OMAR KHAYYAM.’’ The wonderful Persian production of “The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam’’ will be presented to-night at the Lyric Pictures, and picture-lovers should not miss the magnificent love scenes beneath the soft Persian moon. An extraordinary visualisation of the Potter’s shop and the living pots. Hundreds of horsemen tearing over the desert to the rescue of Sheik’s daughter. Silver palaces, Eastern dances, and the most wonderful sight ever seen on the stage or screen. A marvellous conception of heaven! Here without a doubt is the most beautiful and thought-stir-ring sight ever conceived or presented to the public. You will gasp at the amazing photographic achievements, amongst which are pictures of shooting stars, comets, and the golden gates of Paradise. As an attraction the management have securod “Boomerang Bill,’’ a Paramount production starring Lionel Barrymore. The locale of the picture is mainly in the Bowery, New York. Life in the slums of this great City is vividly outlined in an interesting and instructive manner. A beautiful beach scene, realistic prison interiors, Hiid a small country bungalow also lend themselves to a convincing background for this unusual picture. Owing to the high cost of procuring this wonderful programme the prices for to-night will be: circle 2s 2d, stalls 1? -Sd. WEDNESDAY NIGHT. “DANGEROUS DAYS.’’ “Dangerous Days,’’ by Mary Roberts Rinehart, is' a story of modern times, and tells the story of those dangerous days just before the wgr, when the munition works of America were endangered by spies and plotters. The whole story is cleverly told and should provide a. good nights entertainment, especially as the book is so widely read.
