GENERAL ELECTION.
To the Editor. ,<ir. —I read in your issue of 13th last, that an endeavour,is being made to secure a Labor candidate for the Otaki seat. I do hope that wiser Council will prevail emoiig the support ers of “Labor" and that no vote splitting will occur which would he disadvantageous to both Liberal and Labor. Now. a; in the past, Libera! anc Labor most combine in common cause of the people to give the opportunity and justice to all. The Liberal Labour party have always bees «*«*«* >M with protection for the worker, aheap money and closer settlement. This iwhat the workers and farmers want today, and will surely get it if only Liberal and Labor will combine. Let us at least pull together in this electorate and success is assured. Tnankmg you Sir, for space in your impartial journal for publication of this letter.—l ametc., JOHN FAITH. ‘ Fairview, ’ Te Hero, Jiovsrab** lSj 1P22. :
