WOOD ALCOHOL.
DEATHS IX AMERICA. New York, August 23. The Xational Committee for the Prevention of Blindness has issued statistics purporting to show that in the first half of 19112 wood alcohol caused 130 deaths and 22 cases of blindness. More than half the fatalities occurred in Xew York, Xew Jersey, and Ponnysylvauia, and 103 of the 130 deaths were reported in the first 12 days of 1922. states a recent cable.
