One is a religious dance, called "Dance of the White God," a weird original movement used by the superstitious natives as part of their ritual. How she does a wild hula dance to save the man she loves is a moment in a story grippingly tense and absorbingly fascinating, where brute force and woman's will clash for supremacy. In support of this film we have a Charlie Chaplin comedy "The Squarehead." a Spotlight comedy. "Father's Hero," and the latest English Gazette.

FRIDAY NIGHT. "HEADING WEST." Smiling Hoot Gibson is coming to the Otaki theatre on Friday. lie will be seen in tho starring characterization of "Headin.' AVest," Many a story has been written and many a picture filmed on the basis of the expression, "up in the air." But: Gibson is really there in tho opening scenes of "Headin' West," in which he enacts the part of an American veteran of the war who returns home in time to steal his own ranch from himself and get branded as an impostor. In addition to "Headin' West" a full supporting programme includes a Century Comedy and the 17th chapter of "The Lure of the Circus" serial. Prices are as usual. Mr Morse has decided that, in future, the pictures will lie under the name Of "Lyric." On Wednesday he will give his first programme here, and it is hoped that he will be greeted with a big house.
