Mr Gr. Kcmsley, who has been seriously ill in the Otaki hospital, expects to leave for his home at Waikanae i" the course of a few days. Mr W. Thomson, stationmastcr at Levin, has been promoted to a position at Palmerston N. Mr Thomson, who was a leading citizen and an enthusiast in football, will be greatly missed.
